About My Classes
I’m Lou and I have been studying and practising yoga for over 15 years. I began teaching in 2006 whilst studying with the British Wheel of Yoga, and becoming a Mum, and was awarded a teaching diploma with Dru Yoga in 2011.
Further training includes Yogabugs (toddlers/kids), Pre & Post Natal Yoga, Yin Yoga, Yoga Nidra and trauma-informed Restorative Yoga, Menopause Yoga, Ceremonial Cacao and creating Womens Circles.
I have taught 2 year olds and 92 year olds in a variety of settings including yoga studios, leisure centres, community spaces, schools, festivals and events, and I particularly love taking yoga outdoors as much as the weather will allow.
My classes are all friendly and welcoming, with an emphasis on finding a pace and form to suit the individual. We use pranayama – breath work and relaxation techniques throughout. My classes are embodied with a little yogic philosophy to maintain a practise deeply rooted in ancient tradition, plus a good dose of humour.
