Caroline has been studying and practising Yoga for over 20 years and qualified as a teacher with the British Wheel of Yoga in 2003.
She has many years of experience and has taught a wide range of people and styles including mums and babies, children and teens (including yoga in schools and special schools) Hot Yoga, Astanga and general Hatha classes. She also co teaches on twice yearly Yoga retreats. Her classes are friendly and inclusive.
Caroline’s own Yoga journey, a tendency towards anxiety and depression and a desire to fully enjoy the richness of life has brought her to the practice of mindfulness. This has been transformative. She has been training with the Mindfulness Association since 2014.
Wishing to share the benefits she has experienced in her own life with others she completed her Teaching Level 1 course at Samye Ling in 2016 and the MBLC retreat (Teaching Level 2) at Samye Ling in July 2017.
Caroline has a particular interest in using the body to stay present and the connection with the earth. She teaches Yoga and Mindfulness for the NHS and the National Trust.
She continues to train in Yoga and Mindfulness with the BWY and the Mindfulness Association and with other wonderful teachers.
Caroline has also trained as an artist and in her spare time can usually be found on her allotment growing flowers and vegetables in the company of her dogs and chickens.
