Hatha Yoga is the best known and most widely practised yoga in the West. It is for all ages and all abilities. This is the course to choose if you are looking for balance and harmony in your life. The class uses asanas (postures), pranayama (breathing) and pratyahara (withdrawal from the senses through relaxation) to nurture body, mind and spirit. Our Hatha Yoga teachers are fully qualified with the British Wheel of Yoga, the governing body for yoga.
The class is suitable for all abilities. It is a great way to gain a general introduction to all aspects of yoga.
Tuesday: Hatha Yoga and Relax – 18.15-19.30
This is a flexible freestyle yoga class based on Hatha Yoga but influenced by the freedom
of Scaravelli Yoga. We will include the postures and stretches along with Breathwork but keep a very free-flowing approach to moving in and out of the postures. Partner work, mantra and mudra along with a lovely deep relaxation to finish.
Tuesday: Hatha Yoga – The Late Class – 19.45-21.00
The Late Class is a lovely quiet end to the day. A chance to stretch out and relieve all those tight joints and muscles. Yoga Postures to challenge and improve your balance and flexibility. Finishing with a nice long deep relaxation.
Thursday: Hatha Yoga and Relax – 10.45-12.00
