This is a dynamic form of Hatha Yoga for those who want a stronger workout. Ashtanga uses vinyasa, a breath-movement synchronisation done in a flowing style, which results in more vigorous cardio-vascular exercises. The sequence of challenging postures develops flexibility and strength, especially upper body strength. This class works through the Sun Salutations and the Primary Series postures in a user-friendly way. Beginners are welcome.
